So then part of the catalyst for me leaving that was one was tax and two was the fact that the glass collector job did resurface in the top of the hill.
And again, that was my dream job.
I couldn't wait to get my teeth into the top of the hill.
Couldn't wait to start there.
My cousin, Gavin Manning, you'd know Gavin, you'd met Gavin a few times.
Gavin was the manager there at the time and started collecting glasses.
I suppose I wasn't 13 yet, maybe 12 and a half.
And I guess I'm 40 now.
So 28 years ago and I'm still there on some capacity.
So I suppose, yeah, friends went on to, now my friend group wouldn't have been a lot of college goers, like a lot of hardworking fellas, all still working to this day, a lot of builders, trades.

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but it was probably more masons, electricians, plumbers, etc.,
So I continued down the bar work road there for, I don't know, for probably 15, 16 years after that.
working behind the bar, managing the bar, like eventually the manager's job came up, the manager's job came up in another bar.
I was, I was doing a lot of DJing as well at the time.
So when I was a young, younger teenager, I was like, I was always ambitious, never jealous, but ambitious.
So like I would have been in the pub collecting glasses and I'd see the fella in the corner playing music and I might see the manager at the end of the night pay him.
