And I continued bar work the whole time as well.
You know, just on the subject of that, right, my own son now, Jake, is 19.
He'll be 20 in August, right?
And Jake does do bar work now, but Jake does bar work now that I'm full sure of his personality.
Now, I know no one is a crystal ball and we don't know how people are going to turn out.
But I could have sent Jake collecting glasses when he was 15 or 14 or 16, but I didn't.
I kind of waited.
I waited till he was 18.
And where I'm going with this is bar work is fantastic for the right person.
So is DJing.
So is like being in a pub environment.
Bar work can really bring a person out of themselves, give them their personality.
If they might be shy or if they might be introverted, bar work will help.
And but for the wrong personalities and people maybe with certain afflictions, and I've seen this all too many times in my tenure in bar work, like if you were inclined to maybe gamble or if you were inclined to have a drink or maybe inclined to go to a house party and do things you shouldn't be doing.
So I wanted to keep my son away from it.
And I guess I loved the bar work, I did.
But could I say that going back 20 years ago, I never had a drink problem, ever.
But 20 years ago as a 20-year-old man, you're probably drinking a bit more than you should.
You're having a few pints after work.
