I have to go run through their vows one more time.
That's what I like to do.
For years, you know, I was always trapped in this situation where I understood that socializing was important.
But I didn't want to do it.
I just didn't have the gas in my tank to socialize like other people.
And so instead, what I would always do is when friends would run events and things, I would say, I'll do the bar for you.
Or I would say, I'll do the door for you.
And then this meant that I had something to do.
There was something for me to do with my hands.
But I didn't get trapped in conversations.
I could handle a two-minute conversation with someone at the door or like a little interaction with someone when they were getting a drink at a bar.
That really is the level.
That is my capacity.
In the future,
our way of relating with people.
And really, when I say the future, I just mean now.
There's a lot of us who are already living authentically enough to realize this is now, this is how we are.
And really, what that is, like how we do things in this authentic future, which is rolling towards us,
at great speeds.
It's already around us.
