We're all inherently selfish.
It's a survival mechanism.
Right.
And some more selfish than others.
And, you know, it's a learned skill.
Being a good teammate is like having a good slap shot.
It doesn't happen without a lot of work.
And I say...
constantly that when we get together with all the championship teams that i was fortunate enough to be a part of nobody really gives a crap about how many goals or assists you had but they do care how good a teammate you are i mean i mean it's it's uh it's uh you know and and you you look at the bond that championship teams have it's not an accident they win
They play for each other.
They're selfless.
And, you know, you don't do it without talent, but you don't do it.
Without cohesiveness.
And we saw that last night when the Stanley Cup was presented.
And an old teammate of mine, Rod Brindamore, was the coach.
Who was an incredible teammate.
Great, hard-working guy.
And Jordan Stahl said it last night.
Every day, he's the hardest-working guy we have.
