Well, listen, the only person that I had to blame were me, because I'd let this happen, because I'd not got the right mindset.
So what tone and culture do you want setting in your business?
Because you the leader, you the business owner, you're the captain of the ship.
So you need to set the culture.
And anybody involved in the Trades Freedom Club.
I'm sure they'll tell you that, you know, Craig set a really positive culture within his communities.
Within his programmes, with his members, everything's positive, helpful, supportive.
We're there to pat each other on the back, lift each other up when a few of us are uh are finding it tough.
We've got a positive, supportive, helpful culture.
But that had to start with one person, and that one person is me.
And then that then trickles through the rest of your team.
Foundation number four, write this down.
It's called the rules of the game.
And what I mean by the rules of the game is this.
If you don't establish the rules of your subbies and the rules to your employees of working for you and your business
They're gonna come into your business with their own rules of how they think they should work and behave in your business.
Now if you bring in somebody who's been able to get away with blue murder
By working for someone else.
So let's say that you pay
You pay 'em from eight o'clock in the morning and they think it's acceptable to rock up at five past eight, have a fag, have a cup of coffee, get the tools out, slow up rest of people down on your team because they're talking about football from the night before, and then they end up getting on tools at half past eight in the morning, and then before you know it, an hour later at half nine, they're having a break that should be fifteen minutes at last half hour.
