I think this deadline and actually the summer is going to be pretty interesting as far as how the Nuggets navigate Peyton's impending restricted free agency.

Because like you said, Mayor, I agree.

I think even when Cam Johnson comes back and Jokic comes back, I think Peyton has to still be in the starting lineup just based on his output.

I think it would honestly be, you know, pretty difficult.

I don't know if the right term is reckless, but I think it would be deserved if he were to come out of the lineup, especially all the output that he's put through over this time.

He's been one of the more healthy players that the Nuggets have had this year, so he's been able to play in a vast majority of games.

But I do think with the output and his availability, I think he deserves to start moving forward at the expense of whoever else that is in the starting lineup.

Yeah, I think the most impressive thing with Pickett is that he's basically like shapeshifted his game from college to now.

In college, he was more of, you know, like he was the system, right?

He was, you know, basically carrying a ton of usage with the ball, a lot of posting up.

And now he's kind of really flipped that in his game where he's not – the post-ups have basically been eliminated from his arsenal.

And that's due to the Nuggets offense where it's like if you have other guys like Jamal Murray and –

Um, the Peyton now taking his leap, right.

You're not just going to have picket, you know, spam post-ups.

Um, but, um, yeah, I think he's definitely improved.

I think some of the weaknesses in his game, you know, he's definitely a much better spot up shooter.

His release is really quickened, um, since he's came into the league.

Um,

Also, too, I think that he's kind of found more of a rhythm as far as defensively.

He's been able to be a little bit more switchable on that end of the floor, especially against bigger players.
