But this is, I think, we're seeing a pretty big jump from Peyton that I think is, of course, when Jokic comes back, I don't think that the output is going to be that sustainable because you have more, obviously, the MVP coming back and taking more of the scoring load off of Peyton.

But I do think a lot of his reps are replicable, especially with the bench, where you can give him the ball, initiate a bit more.

And that's what the Nuggets have been lacking, especially off the bench.

You know, with Murray as just the one guy in lineups as the sole guard, he's gotten blitzed.

You know, guys haven't really been able to compensate off of that.

And I think Peyton, we're seeing now that his offensive game is at a point where I'm pretty convinced that this leap is, I don't know if sustainable is the right word, but I definitely think that some of his game, I think, can really stick moving forward and be a really big help for the Nuggets.

I mean, especially after if you go back to that draft, when the Nuggets drafted Peyton, they gave up a future first round pick.

So you already spent, you know, capital on attaining Peyton.

And then now to see him kind of take this level up in his game four years down the line, then to see him walk after that, I think would be pretty disappointing.

as far as the resources that you attributed to Peyton.

And if you really look at the kind of scope, right, of the front office, they kind of cleared the deck of, like, veteran options to make room for Peyton to play.

You know, especially over the last three years, they didn't have many – they didn't have a Bruce Brown that came back, right, or a Tim Hardaway Jr.

or a Valanchunas in the rotation, right, that would maybe potentially take away some of Peyton's minutes.

So –

especially now that you see that he's kind of carved out a pretty concrete role, but also as a guy who's been a pretty solid contributor there.

I think especially in the Yoko Chera now, you have to pay whatever is necessary in order for the team to compete.

And if that means going into the second apron to retain Peyton, I think you're going to have to do it.
