My best friend's kid is trans. And my kid's best friend is trans. My trans kid had his top surgery at NYU.
Those doctors were fantastic. His surgeon was the best we could have imagined. And the idea that this city is filled with young people who thought they had a place to go where they could receive the highest care, and that place has now been shut to them, sickens me. Sickens me to my core.

My wife and I, our lives are filled with the most amazing, beautiful, brave trans people, young and old, but especially young. My trans kid had his top surgery at NYU a number of years ago.
When I first read the script, they asked me to read for Carrie, as I think they asked you to read for Carrie. I did not know this. Yes, they asked me to read for Carrie, right? Did you? I did. And they were like, yeah, not so much. Okay. How that short hair came to be. So I was blonde, Kim was blonde, Sarah was blonde. Right. You were the only non-blonde. Right.
So they came to me and they said, we got too many blondes. Would you dye your hair red?
People would ask me, you know, are you, how are you like Miranda? And I would always say, we both feel confident about our brains. But that's kind of where it ends.
