I saw him at a conference like in 2012, and he said, uh, I don't know if we're we're allowed to swear on this podcast, but he said, We are.

Go for it.

He's he introduced the phrase, hey, you're not ranking in Google.

Why don't you quit worrying about ranking in Google?

And start doing real company shit.

Yeah.

If you do real company shit, you're gonna succeed.

And Rand Fishkin is always talking about do things that don't scale.

So I've an SEO.

I understand the business realities of trying to scale things out and do things quickly, the most profitable, all that.

But I think at the end of the day, I'm attracted to doing things that are real, things that don't scale, and because they're more defensible and you have something to show for it at the end of the day.

I I I just think that's a better way to go.

That sometimes conflicts with the business reality of trying to make as much money as possible.

And all those other things, but at the end of the day, I want to do real stuff.

Excellent question.

I'm going to give an example that I'm working on for a presentation.

And that's like, let's say we want to review running shoes.

I'm running enthusiasts.

I'm going to start a vlog.

I'm going to make money reviewing shoes.
