And, you know, it takes a while to get used to.

It takes a while for him to trust you.

There's a lot of things that all coaching staffs go through.

One thing about Mike is he's going to watch the game the same way.

He's going to see the game the same way.

every day, and he expects everyone to be on that exact same page, work ethic, what have you.

Now, the other side of Mike is my wife, Christy, loves Babs, his wife and his family and his kids, probably as much or more than any coach that we've ever been with in the National Hockey League and outside the rink.

Mike is a totally different guy.

People say things and what have you, and that's their prerogative and I guess their choice to talk like that.

Me personally, and I tell one story to a lot of people, is that

My son Brock was born with SVT, which is a heart issue where it beats too fast.

It's missing a nodule.

Anyways, real tough time in Windsor.

We almost lost him.

And we had to rush him across the tunnel.

Mike lived in Brighton, Michigan.

As soon as he heard that, he met me at the hospital.

My wife couldn't cross because of a C-section.

And Mike had dialed in and found a way to push the best electrical heart specialist in Michigan to be there.
