On an average day, we would have, well, you would have about, we'd have 20 paid staff.
So most of them would be part-time staff.
But we'd also have about 60 volunteers every week who are coming.
That could be anything from doing some maintenance and helping out, helping out in the cafe that we have.
But the vast majority of them would be people who are coming to teach a subject.
So...
As a lot of CityWise are fun and games and getting people in the door, but the kind of academic support is maths classes, chemistry, you know, all that kind of stuff.
Yeah, so I started in CityWise at eight.
Then I would have had a lot of role models in CityWise who would have supported me.
CityWise at the time, because of my involvement in CityWise, I was lucky enough to get a scholarship to go to a fee-paying school in Rathfarnham, a Rockbrook Park school and...
With all of that support, I maintained my involvement in CityWise throughout secondary school.
A little bit, but they weren't the worst.
My best friends are all from school and secondary school, so they got over.
But was it difficult for you?
Yeah, a little bit.
Like, in some ways, you kind of have a foot in both camps.
You know, when you come home, people are saying, who's your man who, you know, has gone off to fee-paying school?
And then when you're in there, they're, you know, who's your man from Tallow?
But, yeah, you learn to adapt.
And, like, at the time, CityWise would have been a major support to me because...
