I think we we are deliberately leaving it flexible and up to schools to say, look, we understand there are different contexts and there will be reasons why you might want anywhere between zero and a hundred percent AI and you can choose.

Um our sort of you know, we're recommending this ninety ten model.

Because we do think I wouldn't want to get into a world where every assessment is a hundred percent AI.

And I think the good thing about having an element of human judging

um across, you know, m maybe not for every assessment, but across a kind of, you know, a year, say.

is that it does mean that you are you've got a kind of real time live check on the AI.

So if the AI at the moment we think is doing an phenomenal job

Like it's remarkable how good it is.

But I think it is good with any technology like this to just have a little bit of a human in the loop.

So you can just check it is staying in line with with with human judgment.

So that basically depends on the type of task you do.

We run these big national projects and in our big national projects we will have

you know, might have a thousand primaries, for example, taking part.

Um the way we set it up there is we kind of s sort of split it.

We we split it between what we call a local task that just involves the school scripts and then we also have what we call a moderation task where we pull forward a sample from every school.

So when the AI is judging on a local task, it would just be seeing the scripts from within a scope.

So if you turn on the AI within your local school task, it will be comparing your students with your students.

But in these big national tasks, we've also got this moderation pot, which consists of a proportion of scripts from every school.

And when an AI judges on that, it will be judging, it will be comparing scripts from um, you know, that into all of those participating schools.
