Um so that's how we run a national task.
And schools can also set up uh kind of custom tasks where it's just their kids and then obviously the AI will just be comparing their kids with their kids.
So so it's like it's very flexible.
It's it's kind of you can you can do what you want if you want to set it up whatever way.
Exact exactly.
Where you have quite small cohorts.
Um, and you can even have like quite an experienced teacher who's been teaching for decades.
And actually even then
like if they've been in one school the whole time or even if they've been in a couple of schools, like y you know, to what extent have they seen like the whole range of what you know, primary students are capable of?
Um and so yeah, one of the big, big assets of comparative judgment, you can use it just within your school to assess 30 scripts within your school.
But I think one of the biggest advantages of it is that the these big national projects that we run where we bring uh uh bring together writing from uh like across the country from a thousand schools and teachers have the ability to to judge that and see that without having to leave their school.
So it makes that kind of moderation
um much more viable, much more sophisticated as I say, and um and you know, that teachers genuinely will see a whole range and not just the writing within their own school.
Absolutely.
And I think just in lots of ways, just seeing what other schools do.
You know, actually even just seeing like this thing that my kids struggle with, actually, you know what?
Every kid struggles with it.
Um this is not unique to us.
Um, you know, just something I'll say having read quite a lot of these pieces of writing we pulled in over the last ten years, every kid struggles to realise a lot is two separate words.
That is not unique to any context, that is not unique unique to any region, uh, that is not unique to any teacher, that just feels to be like a stubborn thing that is is is just consistent everywhere.
