You can usually see it based on how Dog and Handler go into the ring to the start line together.

what their their startling behavior is you know do they put the dog in a sit is there a lot of nonsense coming out of the handler's mouth are they having a weird conversation with the dog as though the dog understands are they trying to coax the dog to stay do they start the run even if the dog breaks their stay that that stuff usually reveals itself pretty quickly

And it's interesting because at the moment, and for quite some time, the Germans have really, on the international level, the Germans tend to really dominate the sport.

And they're pretty interesting to watch because they are not interesting to watch, if that makes sense.

They're usually not very loud or flashy or verbose.

When you watch them walking their dogs around outside the ring, their dogs just kind of look like potatoes.

They're not lunging at the end of the leash.

You look at the clock and you wonder, how did they post that time?

And so they, I think for a lot of people, unless you're pretty skilled,

yourself, that kind of skill doesn't draw your attention.

And I'm sure it's the same in bike sport.

The team that looks kind of boring, they're actually probably more skilled.
