Yeah, that's the point I'm trying to make, is that if you consistently change the law in one direction, eventually the message and the feeling and the approach will go in the same direction.
The housing crisis that I talk about in the book, the crisis in stock, which, look, people listening to this will be aware, we're at a housing crisis, not enough housing, not enough affordable housing, etc.

Myself and lots of people think of the housing crisis.
They think of it as a stock problem.
But the problem with that is it leads into a cultural problem.
If you've not got enough houses, you start to have to make difficult decisions.
And those decisions affect the poorest.
They affect people on the bottom.
And then when those decisions don't just become tough decisions, they become complicated.
cruel and you start to make decisions that are not only kind of black and white but you start to actually ignore them and you start to leave them in places where they're they're unsafe and you feel that you can get away with leaving them in those situations because there are no consequences because the law isn't protecting those people not only isn't the law not being passed to make sure they can live in safe housing the law has not been passed to make sure when they live in safe housing someone will do something about it
Exactly.
I spoke at a thing a few months ago and someone asked me in the audience if you could change one policy.
Because the book is obviously dealing with bigger, long-term, how do we fix this?
It's long-term solution stuff.
But we can't live in the future.
We have to try and think of what we do now.
And someone said, what would you do?
What one thing would you change?
And I said, you have to stop using the phrase intentionally homeless, is what you're talking about.
