Maybe it's just the schedule of my working week that I really enjoy watching it on a Sunday night.
I'm generally off on Mondays.
And to me, what I take from the live thing is that
Sport is still, the best kind of sport, the one that's easier to get involved in, is when you feel like the people who are losing, it means something to them.
And I would still sometimes watch the PGA Tour, the flaws that it has, even without some of the stars that have left.
but you still have these stories of someone trying to keep their card or trying to get their status or maybe get something that changed.
And I appreciate that Rory's changes have met it a little bit, but they've pulled the drawbridge up a little bit.
The purses are now post-Liv insane and there's still a lot of wealth.
But
Yeah, but it's not in the same... Certain people are protected from that status.
So you still have somehow that sense of some tradition lingers.
As much as it's been eroded away, you still watch the players or Memorial or these events and it's easier to tune into them because you feel like, okay, there's a consequence here.
And that's the thing of any of the live events.
It's just, it's completely...
it's just artificial.
It just doesn't work in... It's just like a series of these glamorous pre-season friendlies that will go around the world that people will go to watch someone hit the shit out of the ball, you know, or sort of pass the shit out of a football or whatever.
But ultimately... It's in a vacuum.
Yeah.
It doesn't have any meaning and you can't... So in a way, there's something nice about it failing because it's just... It's sort of a lesson of like you just can't...
And yet I know that they're in some sports, like you will have an NBA season with hundreds of games where you'll have a lot of games that maybe aren't meaningless and they're as entertainment.
