I I I I think so.

Uh I always feel good this time of year because we have pennant races, the weather gets cooler.

I do have a head cold from the trade deadline.

I I felt pretty dead by by the by six PM the other day.

Yeah.

Uh but yeah, is it this is a fun time of year to be a baseball fan.

Well, one of the things about the trade deadline is that it was very action-packed, but the impact is never quite as much as people think in most cases.

Baseball's gone to a a playoff system with a lot of teams.

There are a lot more teams in the playoffs than there were 30 years ago.

And that kind of diminishes the the value of improving in the season for for most teams when you talk about the trade deadline.

Uh and this year.

Again, a lot of action, but it was mostly relief pictures.

Uh it seemed for a while that that was was there a route change that only relievers could be traded?

Was there a special reliever deadline and everyone else had to be traded by July 15th or something?

That that's what it felt like uh as relievers changed teams.

So some teams, I mean, obviously did help themselves, but the differences are are subtle.

They're more about depth and

And w making sure that if you lose your closer down the stretch that you're not already

drawn very thin with your bullpen or you have that bat off the bench uh for for the the p for October.
