You know, I, I had been struggling for five years and,
I had a family, a young family that was growing and I needed to just make a move, you know, and I was burned.
I was completely burned out by baseball at that point.
You know, just didn't even have the energy to keep, keep pushing at it.
So that's, it was a totally different feeling.
And I was,
I was ready to move on because I was exhausted and burned out by the game.
Didn't even know what I was going to do.
Just knew I needed and wanted to do something different.
Ready for kind of a new challenge.
So that was different.
You know, and it worked out.
I got into a job that I didn't expect to be in, a mental skills job, and did that for a couple years and found purpose and enjoyment.
You know, still in baseball, but in a completely different way.
Um, so I, I think I grew a lot through that process.
It wasn't easy every day, but, um, you know, it was, it was, um, like I said, it was just finding a new challenge and something that I had purpose in.
And then this time it was, you know, different, definitely, you know,
Physically was starting to wear down.
Elbow was coming off the surgery.
Felt okay.
