So, yeah, at some point he'll run into a wall and realize that other people are also good.
But at this age, the disparity between the ones that have natural giftedness and the ones that are there because their parents wanted them to do something...
It's just a massive difference.

Allowance is an interesting thing.
So when I was growing up, I got cash allowance because people actually used cash back in those days.
And so, yeah, parents would dole that out.
I would save it in like an envelope or wallet or something.
I don't know.
And would do like the Dave Ramsey cash envelope system at eight years old or whatever.
Of course you would.
I didn't have envelopes.
So that's like you have some that you give away.
You have some that you save for the future and then the rest you kind of spend.
And even in your spending, you might have like different envelopes or slots or something that you budget for different areas.
Obviously, as you get older, Astrid, 10 or 20 years from now, you might have a lot more different expenses or budget line items.
Right now, you might just have pretty basic give, save, spend.
Um, so think about that.
Uh, but when we became parents, we tried to do cash allowances because it's really important one for kids to figure out how money works, like actually how, you know, a dollar and a $5, I have different values, even though they're the same size paper or like what the coins add up to and things like that, like how those things actually work.
