We're not at 15%, 16%, 17%, which is what we saw in the 80s.
And I think that, along with the balance sheet position of farmers, makes this a little bit of a different environment that we're in.
But we're still keeping a close eye on it.
take that one you want to start it yeah i'll start it okay um so yeah i'd say you know the best producers are ones that that aren't just you know looking at their completing their 1231 balance sheet right you know we're seeing these producers actively you know every month going over their finances and and you know when we get a loan package in those good producers will have many years of historical balance sheets more than just year end so we get a lot more information from those good producers
Yeah, I think I'll just add to that, you know, the producer that I mentioned this earlier that's working with some consultants to really kind of understand what their financial picture looks like.
Those are the folks I think that are going to fare a little bit better in this.
I mean, you know, when grain prices are high and if you're a good yielding producer, you can get those top yields.
You've got a lot of flexibility, right, because you've got a lot of cash flow coming in.
But when things get a little bit tighter, you've got to take a little bit deeper look at your liquidity position, you know, figure out what you need to do on the equity side, if you can afford to buy equipment or land or whatever the case may be.
So I think that, you know, the more that they're working with some experts out there, that's really putting them in a better position.
You know, we've got some business out of the Pacific Northwest.
So Oregon, Washington, Idaho, there's a lot of tree nuts up there, apples, wine grapes.
That's a pretty tough industry right now.
What we're seeing going on in the, I guess, the alcohol beverage segment, there's people drinking a lot less, right?
So there's less people buying wine, less people drinking beer.
The bourbon market's been impacted here locally in Kentucky.
Yeah.
Yeah, we're seeing some bourbon companies struggle a little bit.
So I think some of those one-off type commodities that we don't think about every day, those producers are really struggling quite a bit, more so than a row crop.
I think what we're seeing is there's some folks exiting some of those industries.
