Mark Palios from Tranmere obviously tried to explain the Tranmere one through.
And the technology can be difficult at times.
It's not the greatest technology, if I'm honest.
So when people are trying to explain, and it's probably one of the most important presentations of their life, you know, it's all based on the internet and it can break up.
You've got a lot of people on those calls, probably there was 70 on the first one, there was probably 50 then on the League 1 one.
And I just wanted to listen.
I wanted to hear the numbers for the votes.
But I knew the vote was in and it meant no difference what I was going to say.
And then obviously other stuff was spoken about in the League 1 meeting as well.
Look, Scott, I've been really transparent from day one.
When this happened in March, we'd just been in Portsmouth and the world's obviously collapsed.
The virus came in.
No one knew what was going to happen when we were going to play again.
But the idea always being that, look, we're going to stop playing until we knew more.
And the EFL, it always led us to believe, you know, we're going to finish the season.
We were one of probably the few clubs who didn't furlough players because we wanted to be professional, have our players, you know, working with the sports scientists every day from home, be ready for when we get back up and running.
Every letter we got from the EFL was stated that we want to finish the season.
finish the season and we went along with that I spoke to Rick Parry myself early in May Rick Parry the chairman I said to him you know what are we doing things seem to be improving and he said look we want to finish the season things seem to be improving there's no reason not to finish the season so again went along with that and you know from my perspective my partners Jason and Randy all the fans of Peterborough my staff it's a big disappointment because we vote for football we will always vote for football we own a football club that's what we do I understand all the health concerns and
