In a game like that, that would have been nice to see him get a breakaway.
It all worked out.
the selling the shot and then finding a seam back doors, what he's added to his bag.
Oh, he's, he's unbelievable at it.
Like he has that big like toe on his stick and he like, it almost looks like he holds the puck like out on it with his arm, like up high.
He can do anything from there.
Like he can go cross body.
He can open it up and go further.
Like I see it in practice all the time, but like you really don't know what he's going to do.
He's so good at positioning it, like, where he can do three things, like, off of just holding it there on the outside of his blade.
But I want to say, I mean, I've always known it, but now everybody does.
Because he, you know, he had, like, I think 50 and a lot of years where he was scoring, you know, a lot of goals.
And he was playing on the line with two guys that were just feeding them all the time.
And then, obviously, when, you know, you lose a Marchand and a Bergeron, some of the guys that we've had, when we had those really deep teams...
like, now we were asking him to do everything.
You're asking him to carry, you know, the whole offense, really, was what we were asking him to do.
And I think you saw it last year, like...
that he just had that that club in his bag like and he did it so much he fed geeks like crazy and then you know he ends up being a 30 goal scorer some of the plays he was making like it was just on display i think for everybody to get the appreciation like this guy can do it all man not only can he score 50 but he's a he's a playmaker too sees the ice at a different level
Like we knew going into this year that we weren't going to have a captain and like that was totally fine.
You know, I think, and when people ask me this, I always go back to like the captains we've had before.
