Well, a great deal.
I mean, I think you're talking about a unique individual as far as not only work ethic and
looking to continue to succeed, but also when you look at the athleticism for a catcher, what he puts forward, how he works with not only the pitching staff, but the training staff and what he puts forward.
He's a great athlete.
I mean, a lot of times you don't see –
catchers in that same type of situation so JT's a great athlete it definitely plays into it and it's a hard question I'm not sitting here saying that anybody has an exact formula on this you look at what other catchers have done you look at the history perspective
But then you have outliers too.
And JT continues to be one of the best players at his position in the game.
So it definitely comes into the process of do we think he can play for three more years successfully?
Yeah, who knows?
As much as we fight it and say, okay, well, do we want to go three years?
Do we want to go three years?
Yes, we do go three years.
It wouldn't shock me if you're sitting here in another three years and JT's talking about a multi-year contract beyond that.
I mean, he's that type of individual, but it's a real hard question to answer.
And you look at historical aspects.
But I also think you're talking about a unique individual that will continue to perform very well.
Thank you both.
Well, it was close.
We thought we had a chance to make another deal, which fell through at the last minute.
