And yeah, he actually said in those same remarks that Brexit effectively undercut the UK's national interest to some degree.
So basically, it's time to move closer to Europe and end this period of a divergence between the UK and EU.

Trump was a big champion of Brexit, but I think he's one of the big reasons why the UK and EU are moving closer together.
No, because he works for Trump now.
But I think but part of the you know, if you take a step back, what what their case for NATO abandoning the U.S.
right now is the U.S.
launched a war that these countries were not consulted on and by and large wanted to avoid, if at all possible.
If you're talking about the U.K., France, Germany, et cetera, they did not want the U.S.
to engage in this war.
It's hurting their economies even more than it's hurting the U.S.
