I mean, we had a long-serving member tragically passed away a couple of weeks ago and his memorial service was held just on Monday.
And Toby and Georgia flew up and back from Melbourne for the day to acknowledge his passing.
And that just sort of points to
just how important, you know, the fans have been to him and how important he is to them.
So, yeah, there's certainly some sadness.
There's no doubt about that.
As I said, you want him to be a one-club player and his connection to our members and, you know, coterie groups and sponsors is really strong.
And so, you know, the actual reaction will be, you know, one of disappointment, but at the same time, you know, we'll be...
clear that I think the club's in a very stable and should be very optimistic about what's ahead, very stable position so these things happen in football as we understand.

And yeah, I'll leave that one to Jason McCartney as that plays out in the next couple of weeks.
Well, I think he, along with Kevin Sheedy and others, gave us this resilience and character from day one.
The toughness that he exhibited and even a lot of it, as I've said before, Jared, a lot of the tribunal indiscretions were retribution or looking after his teammates.
He's just one of the most loyal people you'd ever meet and he's been loyal to a fault for 15 years and
And now he makes a decision for his family.
So, you know, we wish him the best.
We thank him for what he's been able to contribute to us.
And we move forward.
