And then we're looking at just that intense heating.
So we'll get those downbursts, micro bursts happening here, and a lot of lightning with storms.
And that could happen today, actually.
Storm prediction center already has part of our area under marginal risk for today.
I think we'll see it tomorrow and definitely again on Thursday here for just that reason, uh, even though we have that ridge of high pressure north of us.
So that moisture from that, I've been talking about it here since last week, kind of work its way here toward uh area, area two, and uh we're gonna be getting some pretty good downpours.
Yeah, we were just in a pretty severe drought uh through the entire spring.
And then here in June, we've gotten almost nine inches of rain.
Uh so that basically wiped it out, which is great news.
Uh Arthur from what a week, two weeks ago.
Um, while it was not a tropical system, did bring us some pretty good downpours.
We got a couple days of inch and a half, three inches of rain.
Um, so that helped basically clear everything out.
But yeah.
Right now we're drying out, of course, with this ridge over top of us.
Uh, but uh as we said earlier, if we can get some of these pop-up storms uh that can sneak on the southern edge of that heat dome, that could help to bring us some pretty good rain.
But uh my big concern would be now these micro bursts.
So once we get some of those popping, we do get a few of those every usually Jill June is our micro burst season, if you will, here.
Um, and so that's something.
