uh the corporate operations that we uh ran in the early days provided the cash flow to allow us to um expand into franchising, make that investment and that type of thing.
And and we uh felt
strongly that we needed to make sure that we had the right
infrastructure in place and we have tended to be more build versus buy in terms of our approach to support infrastructure.
So for example we've per we've built our own
um business management system that's proprietary to our business.
Uh, you know, we we generally have built all of our own websites and web properties.
We've done we've did all of that in house, managed pay per click accounts.
Um all of the support functions and that type of thing have been, you know, done in house and so
Uh whether that was the right thing to do or not, uh those types of investments are expensive.
and take time.
And so as we were growing our business, what we started to see
Pot particularly back in the two thousand twelve time frame.
was that, you know, our our model was growing, our franchisees were successful, we were getting a lot of inquiries and we were adding a lot of new franchises.
And what we we didn't really have were the resources to put the infrastructure that we felt was needed in place.
to really uh mature our uh you know, mature our system.
And so we uh when we started looking at um capital partners
It wasn't
a cash out type of a scenario.
You it wasn't that we had built a, you know, big successful business and we're now looking to, you know, personally cash out of that investment.
