It was really more of a cash in than a cash out scenario.
So we felt like we needed
um capital or access to capital in order to continue
the growth curve that we were on and and what we were afraid of was
You know, we had we had built a model, we had started a program in an industry that really didn't have one in the past.
We knew that would be obvious to people with capital and expertise and we felt like, you know, we didn't want to just slow things down and be conservative.
Um and r you know, conserve cash.
in the short term.
And, you know, tap the brakes and let somebody else kinda pass us by.
And so we felt like we really needed
access to capital to continue the growth.
So I went out and met with a number of um different potential capital partners.
Uh mostly they were private equity, some agile investors and and some others.
And probably about halfway through that process
we um ha had a meeting with one of our suppliers uh which is a company called Harmar and Harmar had been recently acquired by the Cortec group
Um, the year before, or actually I guess earlier that year in two thousand and twelve.
And so, you know, they just kind of casually mentioned that they had that this new relationship and, you know, would we be interested in speaking with them?
Do we have a need for capital?
Um, and I said, Well, actually we do and so uh we met with them in
Late two thousand and twelve.
