And so you get a debate in Project 2025 between Peter Navarro, who is in the White House now, saying that we should have tariffs as a way of taking on China.
And then you have another guy, Kent Lassman, who leads a conservative free trade think tank saying, no, tariffs are a terrible idea and they're going to cost people money.
So they can't quite come to an agreement on that.
Can they come to an agreement on anything?
Well, I think they're in agreement on this very right-wing vision of society.
That's the one thing that does seem to unite them.
Yeah, I mean, I think this is the heart of their vision.
So they want to ban abortion, obviously, no surprise.
But they also want to go to this kind of 1950s vision of family.
They want families that are married.
They want the father working.
They want the mother at home with the children.
They want religious schools teaching biblical principles.
They want to push gay people to the margins.
They want to write trans people out of the very language of the government and say that they don't exist.
So it's a whole comprehensive platform to create this vision of society and to move everything through a biblical system, to put everything through faith-based organizations.
