If you know what you're doing, you're fine, which is why people need to consider getting advice because we work hard to acquire our assets and I was amazed when people don't then want to protect and control what happens to them.

Certain life events, things like relationships is the big one.
If you start or end a permanent type relationship, whether that's a marriage or whether it's a domestic partnership, you'd need to consider those things.
Having children obviously is a very big one for people.
But also starting your employment life or ending it in retirement or things, but even things like travel and the like.
There's lots of events that occur where you really should sit down and think about, have I got a valid will which will deal with my assets if something was to happen to me?
No.
No, they will continue to operate.
So we often are dealing with very, very old wills where someone has made a will and has just continued to remain there.
You can revoke wills, you can change wills, you can do all that sort of stuff, but if you make a will, it will continue.
Okay, that's good to know.
Well, look, there's a qualification that I probably need to make.
