But yeah, no, in all seriousness, it actually is very important for people to know where it is because one of the first tasks is identify, did the person have a will and where is it?
And that can be quite difficult if you don't know.
And you've got to do things like searching the premises.
inquiring of banks looking at do they ever use a solicitor for conveyancing or family law or something and inquiring for them or local lawyers asking friends and family even if you get a document and it's old is that the latest document that's why people really do need to know otherwise you can
Either waste time, effort, trouble and money trying to locate it or you can start acting on a document and find, oh, no, no, there's another document.
Oh, wow.
And that could have quite serious consequences.
So, yeah, important people know where your will is.

what i want to leave to who where do we start here well first thing is what have you got then you're going to say who do you want to receive it who do you want to manage or administer your estate and what are your wishes so if we sort of look at that in a little bit more detail in terms of understanding your assets you need to have an understanding as to what you own and what can be dealt with as part of your estate
