Right.
Like, hey, let me tell you what my credit score is.
Let me tell you how much money I've set aside for retirement.
Let me tell you how I save and invest.
People don't typically do that.
And often what's amazing is people get married and they don't even know that their partner has credit card debt or student loans or bad credit score.
um as you get older people talk about money because you're now managing the household and you're managing money together and there's a lot of issues that come to play and so i find people in their 50s and their 60s have talked about money now they might be fighting about it right fighting about money is the number one cause of divorce um and when you get couples on the same page financially you create a better couple which is really important
Like if you want to know how to have a better marriage and have guys have more romance in your life, get your finances fixed.
Because nothing ruins a marriage and relationship faster than fighting about money on a regular basis.
No.
In fact, most couples have separate accounts like, you know, you'd have a he account and she account.
And then often couples have a we account.
Right.
They have an account that certain expenses are paid for out of the we account.
And every household runs differently.
Usually what happens in most households is that one person takes charge of paying the bills.
But because people are getting married later in life and often not getting married, what I see is most couples are coming to the table with multiple credit cards of their own.
They've already got their own bank accounts.
They tend to pay their credit cards separately.
And then they often put money into a joint account to cover household expenses.
