And so little by little over the last 30 years, I became an expert at building and rescuing small businesses.
And it's what I love to do.
Well, and this is working on my newest book right now.
To answer that question, the book is called The Founders Treadmill.
And so the first thing that most, I think, small businesses stumble over is they make themselves the center of the business.
And it gives you total control.
It feels wonderful.
You're the smartest guy or the smartest lady in the room.
And, you know, your whole day is made up of, hey, boss, just one quick question.
Go ahead.
Literally, that is where my work starts.
And so I don't style myself as a coach.
I am a consultant, and I'm a teacher, and I love that.
But trying to get a sole proprietor who feels great about their work and loves going into that office every day to say,
Yes, but there might actually have been a better way because, you know, let's say that you're super successful.
Your business grows really fast.
In about year six or seven or eight, you hit
in the neighborhood of a million dollars grows, that's usually where you run into kind of a wall.
You just don't have any more hours in the day.
There isn't any more energy.
