So um but yeah that that was that was a that was a that felt like a big deal at school is like um not having uh not having my manhood yet.

So so the the yeah my twenty fourteen COM games was pretty special.

I am now, yeah.

You know

Yeah, I just um I never forget, bro.

Yes, yeah, I remember.

Um, I d I don't think I had like a a like a light bulb moment.

Um but it was I I like I said very early on after my first fight I came in the next day on a Sunday and I went I was back to back to the graft and I kind of had these ideas.

I was like, Well, yeah, the Commonwealth Games is two or three years away, I could go to that and then I'll go to the Rio Olympics and then I'll turn professional at twenty one.

And obviously

uh well i I missed the the Rio Olympics uh and worked my ass off for the next four and then five years because of COVID uh to to get myself in the position to be seated at the correct tournaments which is which isn't so much of a big deal when you're just qualifying through Oceania which it's gone back to but uh when you're qualifying through Asia and Oceania it it it was

like it was pretty brutal.

You had to beat you had to be top three in uh basically half the world, it felt like, um, to to qualify.

And so I spent about five years grafting just to get to to the right position to qualify.

Yeah.

And and yeah, that it almost broke me.
