I just want to go really briefly back to the point though you made on interest rates because it's th the Reserve Bank is facing this really weird, almost once-in-a-generation dilemma.
of the fact that inflation's still a problem.
So you've got the target band, everyone knows now between two and three percent for underlying inflation.
They want to hit the midpoint of that, two and a half percent.
And at the moment it's north of, you know, basically three and a half percent.
I'm talking about the underlying level of inflation, north of three and a half.
And that means that they can't rule out not hiking again.
Um, but here's the thing.
So you've got Paul Bloxham from HSBC saying, what's the Reserve Bank to do?
Because you've got a sluggish economy.
