And some of that is down to the building stock in these countries that would have been built in decades prior when temperatures were cooler and all of that.

You've stories coming out of the UK of, you know, high 30s temperature where there might be a newborn baby in the house.

And one of the papers in the UK reported this week that people are checking into hotels to get some air conditioning for their babies.

That's the extent of the problem.

But this story looks at Irish homes and the heating that we're experiencing.

It looks at some companies that are seeing a doubling or big increases in the purchase of units, that if you want to get a unit that's kind of portable, you can pay between 300 and 600 quid to get something that you

But if you want to get a wall mounted system, the stuff that you'd see in hotels and pubs and all that kind of stuff, you'd be talking about between two and three grand per room to get something like that installed.

And that's a cost that I think a lot of households are going to start considering now, given the cycle of summers that we even have.

Well, on that, so if you have your arcana all year, that's a big usage of energy.

But if you're only using it for the two or three weeks a year that we have really bad heat and it's just sitting there otherwise, that isn't so much of a climate impact.

Well, that's it.

It would fund itself.

Remember, we've been increasing energy consumption just globally in Western countries whilst actually lowering emissions.

It's an important trend to remember that energy use has been going up with emissions coming down.

So we've decoupled that.
