I'll say that because I'm built like the average African woman, actually, that they're looking and they're saying, wow, like God can use me.

With makeup on.

God can use me without a sack.

God can use me if I'm single.

God can use me if I come from a sexually broken past.

Like, oh, she's an example that God can use me.

And the way that she's speaking lets me know that she's still in touch with the fact that she's human, too.

Yes.

I want someone to feel like I can say yes to God.

Because I strongly believe that when we're speaking, there are people hearing us wrestling, should I say yes?

I don't think I'm qualified.

I think the way that I look disqualifies me.

I think that the things that I've done disqualifies me.

And when they see two women of color, a part of a conversation that is often dominated by white men.

That's going to do something in the spirit, right?

That they're going to turn their ear to God just a little bit more than they did before.

I strongly believe that that happens.
