What I feel where Australia went so sideways was we had this government-led, everything has to happen so fast.
We have to be America.
We have to be this and that.
How about you just let Australia be Australia?
And we don't have to race forward in anything like that.
We're going to just do what we're doing.
I'm not saying people can't come out here and holiday and live and be gainfully employed and give back to this country.
What I am saying is that we don't have to move at the pace of the rest of the world.
Some would say, oh, yeah, but you're going to get left behind.
How?
With technology, we don't get left behind.
The only thing that doesn't grow as fast is our population.
