It's not obvious to me that is happening.
certainly not obvious to me that is happening in a way that America will be able to use it as it sees fit and wishes in the late twenty twenties.
So I think we might still be like profoundly compute constrained.
For all the investment that's going into things, I think we're gonna have problems there.
And they're gonna I think we're gonna go through a couple years where it's more bottlenecked than it is than it feels right now.
I agree with that completely.
I think it's more like after that, like after you've gotten to that point, what happens next?
And I think it's like, oh shit.
We're actually quite sure.
gonna be it's an autocatalytic effect.
It's just like energy.
It's the more energy you use, the more energy you wanna use.
That's oh we have all this energy.
Look at all these other things we could do with exponentially more energy.
It's gonna feel like that, I think.
I just think these terms have so much baggage associated with them.
Like it might not be like a Bostrominian style, like exactly what we were all imagining in twenty fourteen kind of super intelligence.
But I think I will be able to pull up my laptop, the laptop that is in front of me right now in four years, and I will be able to instantiate like ten thousand very intelligent agents to go do stuff for me.
And they can use computers and tools and write code at an expert level.
And I believe I will be able to do that.
