And I think that that's awesome.
Right.
A lot of these guys feel that way, the way that they have stepped up and kind of.
gathered everything there is to play for the Toronto Blue Jays and they just wear it and they're doing it for Toronto is awesome and I think going back to Gossman being the ace potentially winning it all for the Blue Jays it works out right because a little surprised that he didn't even start the series in game one and then talking to him he's like yeah I'm a little better with that extra rest so it's probably best for us and now it could work out perfectly that way and I think if he has another game it's a little unfortunate almost that he's going against
Yamamoto again because he was terrific the last time out in game two and he got a little overshadowed and he retired 17 consecutive batters at one point no one was really talking about that after a loss and after what Yamamoto did going the distance so I think again he has the opportunity
to do what he did against the Dodgers.
Not going to be easy.
It's always going to be tougher a little bit on the pitchers after getting so many looks against that team.
But if anyone's going to do it and he's the guy to deliver that championship, it is very, very storybook to what has already been a great season for the Blue Jays.
I mean, you can't write it up better.
It's so cool.
I mean, really surprising me for sure in terms of just how exciting it is.
Like you don't really know until you get to the World Series and cover all
both of these final teams of what that emotion will be like.
I think it's so different.
It's always so much more special when it's a team that hasn't won in decades.
With the Yankees, even though they had had a huge drought covering them last World Series, it was just the way that you cover the Yankees all the time, right?
They're very straightforward, not a lot of emotions happening there, not a lot of fun, public fun anyway.
They say they're having it, so we'll believe them.
