I've got to find my way in there.
I did.
It was a druid production of Conversations and a Homecoming.
Thomas Murphy, like one of my favourite plays, you know, and I was working with Marie Mullen two years ago in The Saviour and I said, I don't know if you remember.
There's a moment in it when the man she's engaged to for about 10 years, which was played by her husband, Sean McGinley, turns around to her and her name was Peggy.
And he says, why don't you run along home on your fat little legs?
And I think, I don't know what age I was, about 12 or something.
And I jumped up and I said, leave her alone.
You know, I remember my mother just kind of pulling me back.
I suppose it is that that live element that like you're sitting in a darkened room with an audience and they actually say that after a while, everybody's heartbeat starts to synchronise.
And then, of course, that the performance is live as well.
So there's always that element of risk.
Nobody knows exactly what's going to happen.
The energy is formed by the people in the room, both on and off audience.
You know, on stage and off stage.
So it's very unique in that way.
And I think there's just something about sitting in a darkened room and feeling joy or feeling tears or feeling great grief, you know, with people around you.
There's something about that kind of sense of community that is just really magic.
And around the world, like, as I said, I'm so lucky I've had I had a play open in Brazil last month.
I've had plays in Chechnya, in Italy.
