I think what struck me actually about Jacob was just
he kind of spoke about like how he withdrew from his own life and that he was on the path to be um, you know, a PT instructor and he just he just had no interest in anything and it reflected the relationships and obviously his job prospects and it made him
basically just want to sit at home and do nothing and speak to n nobody as well.

Yeah, I just kind of wanted to preface this whole conversation as well by just saying that I think when you talk about this at first, people just think this is ludicrous.
How could this happen to anyone?
And a lot of the blame falls on the victim.
But for people that aren't tech savvy, like your parents or grandparents that are signing up.
social media for the first time it does happen possibly has happened to someone that you know so anyway but I found him on Facebook so there's these Facebook fan pages I was in another Irish kind of Facebook group and it was about kind of making Irish people aware of different scams and this popped up so I said I'll investigate a little bit further so anyway I engaged one of the posts and one of them he was you know calling out for admirers and that he wanted to talk to older women which I probably fall into that bracket now unfortunately
And there was a Telegram link.
So I went directly to the Telegram link and the conversation started within seconds.
