And then the pandemic came and all of a sudden I had a lot of time.

Um and and yeah, I I remember it was at the end of 2020, December, I booked a plane ticket to Aruba for like a crazy amount.

I think it was 60 bucks or or something.

Now you can't find anything under 600 bucks, but back then it was six hundred bucks.

I flew to Aruba um not with the intention to to expand to the market, but more to to help them and and

and and and and coach them maybe a little bit uh look around what that market looked like and and yeah after spending a week there with them I I saw so much uh potential like the whole market like then still operated the way that Orlando was operating like 10-15 uh years ago uh there were still most rentals were still like weekly rentals uh they had the there was

No dynamic pricing, it was like a seasonal pricing chart.

Um, guests had to pay for utilities after they checked out uh based on their usage.

So there was a lot, a lot of uh things that I thought, like, oh, I can't believe that they're still operating uh this way.

So I saw so much potential, um, great people there.

locally then that could help us there.

I would have never expanded into Aruba without them.

So again, the people here was for me the most important uh um thing to to do it.

We didn't have franchise, we didn't have anything.

Again, uh we got together um in business without any lawyers involved, but just an agreement that I made up.

Very, very uh basic uh uh agreement because again trust is is
