But it's it's so important Don't use Chat GPT for legal advice.

It's so important that you do business with with the right people and and you're gonna be m making mistakes and whether you use an attorney or not.

Yeah you're gonna end up in in misery, so it it's better to try to avoid it and and for me someone's word is is worth a lot.

I I know that may sound naive, but so far I've I've been lucky.

I I've got a couple of bad experiences, but then I also just move on.

I it is what it is.

Uh usually suing each other is is not gonna resolve anything.

Yeah, it's important that you do your due diligence up front and and avoid problems uh later.

Um, I think in the beginning it definitely was.

And the way I looked at it is like I had a limited amount of time to do business development, but I also had limited amount of of funds to do marketing.

Because it's great you can do a direct mailer um like to five thousand people, but it's gonna cost you probably five thousand dollars or or more, which is also very expensive.

Expensive and there's no guarantee whatsoever that you will get an agreement.

You will also have to spend a lot of time in the design and coming up with a copy and then having a website to link it to and finding addresses and stuff like that.

So my way of looking at it was just like, okay, I I pay maybe um six thousand dollars per per contract and and you buy ten or twenty contracts.

Which is a hundred and twenty thousand dollars.

Can I get this amount of contracts uh cheaper if I have to spend all those funds in marketing and and pay someone to to sign them one by one, than having to ramp up bookings and and doing onboarding because you need to pay a photographer, you need to add them to the system.
