Definitely feel pretty lucky and blessed.
Um, like I said, it's not easy to do that.
It's it's one thing to make the NHL which is crazy, insanely hard anyways, but then to stick around in the NHL is almost even harder.
Um, there's so many players that are always constantly trying to s to fight and steal your job and
You know, there's not many players that are generational that are being in the top six for their entire NHL career.
They have the skill to do that.
I certainly didn't.
So to be able to kind of battle my way and and think my way, as you like to say, my way through my career and adding elements of my game that allowed me to stay in the NHL for that long is
is a testament to I guess the work that I put into it and a lot of help that I had along the way, you know.
Definitely had a lot of that too.
Well of course I expect them to be competitive.
I'm I'm interested to see how the start of the season goes.
I think it might be a little slow.
Um we'll see how things come together with so many new new bodies and um working pieces and and key components like the PK and how that's gonna work.
Uh I love the addition of Andrew Mongipani.
He was my line mate for a year and a bit in Calgary.
He's a great fit as a player and he's a great person too, so I'm really excited.
