That's the problem.
Every decision is subjective to the referee.
But in that situation, I have to say that Bellerin there has not got the ball.
I spoke on Sky this morning about a few incidents last night and over the weekend.
And my thing is, if a player makes a tackle and he gets the man and not the ball, the referee's got every right to give a penalty.
Jeremy, that's something I've talked to my best friend Alan Wiley about many times.
And it's very, very much more difficult to give a penalty when a player doesn't go down.
But because a player doesn't go down doesn't stop it being a penalty.
We see fouls where people can block somebody off.
They can just impede their run.
You see players have to hurdle players.
And they just get a little nick.
And it puts them out of their stride.
And for me, that's a penalty.
And I think all my colleagues agree the same.
Well, as I say, it's got better, Jamie.
There's no doubt about it.
Because with the training camps and people coming together so regularly, everybody talks.
The referees pool their information.
It's no longer like in my day where all I knew was how I refereed.
