And what happens then is you then have a smaller membership base
to spread the rising cost of claims.
So what it means is that more increases for those people who stay in.
So it's early to say exactly, but definitely the data indicates now that we need to start getting concerned about what's likely to happen or what the trend will be for the next six to nine months.
Well, I think, you know, in terms of sounding a note of optimism here, what happens with the health insurance companies, and we're already seeing this, they know affordability is a huge issue.
They know if they don't put more product into the market that makes it affordable, that those younger members in particular, the older members will start pulling their cover back, reducing cover, taking younger members off.
but the younger members who I suppose are very price sensitive and probably aren't really using their cover, particularly those under 35, they will start exiting the market.

We see VHI and Leia Healthcare have put deals in now for young families.
Hopefully over the next three to four months, there will be more product coming in that will give those people who are really hard pressed to afford it right now, will give them some other options.
But Claire, if they don't, there will be a lot of people now who, unless their company is going to pay it for them, they will probably have no option but to start exiting the market.
And that's not good for them personally.
It's not good for the market.
So
Hopefully this won't happen, but the data indicates that we need to be concerned now.
So hopefully the insurance companies will respond and put those products into the market.
Otherwise, we will have a problem.
Yes, and look, we've seen signs of them already responding.
