So you know what happened with that? They had to pay me $50,000 in the first week because we had surpassed the $50,000. Hello. They had to pay me that every single week. I know. Every single month because we had the revenue share.
But I learned that from Tyler because it's like, let them underestimate you. Let them underestimate the black value, the black dollar, black viewership. And that's what they always do to Tyler. They always underestimate black viewership, right? And you know what Viacom does? Viacom comes in here, Tyler, we'll give you this. Let's see what you do. It's Meet Me Next Christmas. It comes out today on Netflix starring Christina Milian, myself, and Kobe Cerebo. I'm excited about it because, and then Tyler will admit to this too, but it's outside of the Tylerverse, which means I get to do something on my own outside of that universe to show my value, not only to Tyler, but to BET, to Netflix, to the people and say, hey, the valor's a draw.
So this was an opportunity for me to showcase what I can do. Christina Milian, like, she's... Legend. Come on, now.

So to me, this was like a no-brainer. I want to expand myself as an artist. I want people to see me outside of the BET universe and the Tyler universe.
Netflix has 300 million viewers. Yes. So hopefully that can expand what I do. But it's fun.
