Denial.
I believe we're in a bit of denial.
It's very hard to imagine a world where the dollar isn't king.
And it's very hard for people to imagine that because they want to believe that coffee they're buying today, they'll be able to buy tomorrow.
But fiat currency has a history of evaporating.
And that's what we're seeing right now.
It's a much bigger issue because when you retire, you're not earning new dollars.
You're not facing wage increases with the new dollars being earned.
Imagine you at one point in your life were earning $100 an hour, $50 an hour, whatever that number is.
You accepted that pay because you understood what it did, meaning how much it would cost to own your home, your car, your expenses, all of that.
But now what's happened is that $100 that you were earning only buys $50 worth of goods and services.
How do you keep your life in retirement?
And that's why you see people having to downsize and really worry about how am I going to have the retirement I want when my dollars are being devalued?
Silver, it's unbelievable.
