Dump down a refreshing tuna milkshake today with Laser Stories, the segment where we read weird news stories around the globe, just like everyone else does, except we've got a laser.
Those other swim shamers just don't.
Can you milk a sea cow?
You can.
This first Laser Story is out of Europe.
Many countries now have bullet trains.
Yeah.
And the other day, one was zipping through Germany and had a scheduled stop halfway between Munich and Nuremberg.
Well, we have the bullets here.
It's not, you know, not so much the trains part.
Not as fun, Jeff.
Bullets also send people places.
During that time, a 40-year-old Hungarian man named Laszlo Kovacs stepped off the train to smoke a cigarette and didn't get back on before they closed the doors.
Uh-oh.
yeah be careful he saw it leaving so he jumped onto a bracket connecting two of the train cars then held on for dear life as it hit 175 miles an hour
Thankfully, after 20 miles, somebody saw him.
Yeah, that's true.
Officials stopped the train and he was saved.
I'm imagining like Spider-Man when he's in front of the train in that one movie.
When authorities showed up, Laszlo said he did it because his luggage was on board and he didn't want to be separated from it.
